Abstract

In today’s competitive manufacturing environment, companies are constantly looking for ways to improve in their production process. A new redesigned assembly line is proposed for bottleneck problemsfor continuous flow type horn assembly line. We present the improvement of the production rate and balance loss ratio of the manual assembly line.In order to improve the production rate, four different methodologies were proposed and the best one is chosen based on the output.
